Playing days
Playing days are an excellent opportunity to enjoy the repetoire of ensemble music for the lute. We usually have a coordinator who brings music. Beginners are particularly welcome.
You need to bring a music stand and as many lutes and other early plucked instruments as you can (bass or other unusual sized lutes especially).
There is usually a modest attendance charge.
Forthcoming playing days
Dates to be published shortly. Stewart McCoy will once again lead and will tailor music to suit all abilities. Beginners are particularly welcome. The day generally starts at 10:30, and the cost has not been fixed, but is usually around £14.
Previous playing days
In 2008, playing days were held in London and Downing College, Cambridge; pictures will soon be available on our Picasa page.
